The TU2 diesel electric locomotives, which were based on the experimental TL1, were the first large build of diesel locomotives for the Soviet 750mm narrow gauge rail system. The TU2 was widely used as a freight and passenger locomotive. Between 1955 and 1964 more than 280 locomotives were constructed. The TU2 was eventually superseded by lighter locomotives equipped with hydraulic transmission. However, more than half of the TU2 locomotives are still in operation today, mainly in parks and in use in children's railways.

I have modified the textures, added North American buckeye couplers, aliased to a differed cab and sounds, and made other minor modifications.
