A demonstration of the use of AI driver commands in Trainz TS12. The route requires the session with the same name as this route.
The task is to
Swap the locomotives at the head of the freight cars.
Swap the order of the freight cars behind the locomotives.
Swap the final location of the locomotives.
The end result should be the SP locomotive with the tank car and wood chip hopper, in that, order behind the locomotive and the ATSF locomotive with the flat car and grain hopper.
A video clip of the session can be seen here
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=39iJz4AmlMU
Both locomotives follow a series of commands, as shown in the introductory screens and at the bottom of the screen for the SP locomotive when in Driver mode. There is no human intervention once the session begins. The driver command line can be hidden with the F6-key.
The task takes about 14 minutes to complete. There are probably quicker ways of achieving the outcome. You are certainly welcome to try.
Track markers and triggers can be moved, renamed, removed or added in the Session Layer without affecting the route. But do make sure you are in the Session Layer when doing this. If, when saving, you are aked to save both route AND session you have NOT ben in the session Layer.
