A waterproof emulsion of highly
concentrated ammonium nitrate solution in diesel oil. Emulsion explosives are used in wet blast holes
where regular dry explosives (such as ANFO) don't work. For safety reasons, it is common that emulsion
explosives are pumped from special trucks at the mine instead of risking transport on public roads. To
set up a Trainz industry to make emulsion explosive, assume the inputs are ammonium nitrate (86%),
water (10%) and diesel, (5%). When used as a blasting agent, you can assume that every 1kg of
emulsion explosive can produce 5000kg of broken rock, coal or mineral ore.
