The BB9200 was built in 1957, also called Jacquemin because Andre Jacquemin was the man who has created transmission drive system on these locos...
These locos are now used for freight consist but this was, with the Capitole between Paris and Toulouse, the first commercial consist in France to run over 200 km/h in 1960. This model is in actual Beton livery, the last one that BB9200 wears with Fret livery.
La BB9200 est nee en 1957; aussi appelee avec les locos issues de la meme serie, Jacquemin du nom de l'ingenieur qui lui donna son systeme de transmission. C'est avec le Capitole en 1960 que le premier convoi commercial franзais franchissait la barre des 200km/h tracte par une BB9200.
Ce modele porte la livree beton actuelle et est dote du boitier de liaison au-dessus du phare, rendant apte ces locos a la reversibilite.
