A ship lock designed to raise ships from one water level to another. It operates as a transfer table, with operating gates, rising water level and night lighting.
Ships in Trainz generally operate on track in 7 metres of water, or track at 3 metres above water level, to allow ferries to load rollingstock from ground level. The lock has separate attachment points so either or both track levels can be used, and the lock height is adjustable.
The rising water is a textured plane, you will need to replace this texture with your own if you want to match a particular water colour in Trainz. The lock should be placed so the gates align with a grid line, so your water may be placed to finish at the gates. Adjust the upstream and downstream levels to suit the up or down positions of the water level in the dock. You should use the get spline height tool to find the height of the attachment points and set the attached track to those levels.
