A small double canal lock designed to raise small boats from one water level to another. It operates as a transfer table, with operating gates, and rising water level, it lifts boats 6 metres in two locks. This model is the gates and end columns only, suitable wall splines need to be placed to make the lock sides.
The double lock operates using the turntable arrows, one click will make the first lock fill, to the level of the second. When the gates open, drive into the second lock. Another click on the arrow will make the second lock fill to the top level. Click on the arrows when looking sideways at the lock, for ease of operation.
The rising water is a textured plane, replace this texture with your own if you want to match a particular water colour in Trainz. The lock snaps to the grid when placed, so the gates align with a grid line. Place water to finish at the gates and adjust the upstream and downstream levels to suit the up or down positions of the water level in the dock. You should use the get spline height tool to find the height of the attachment points and set the attached track to those levels.
