A Mesh Library of banners that may be trailed behind aircraft. They should be attached to the a.limback point in the aircraft mesh table. See the Piper Cub J-3 Startup Banner Towplane model, <kuid2:60238:8013:1> as an example of their use.
Currently there are four banners in this file:
Banner1: WE LIKE PIPER AIRCRAFT, an opaque model, the wording reads backwards on the reverse side;
Banner2: QANTAS Spirit of Australia, a transparent model requiring a bmp file as the alpha channel to make it transparent;
Banner 3: BOEING, an opaque double sided model, the lettering is readable on both sides;
Banner 4: A larger version of the Qantas banner, which will attach to the aircraft 8 metres further back. Other banners may be added later.
If you wish to make your own banner, a lettering.tga file is include with the light lettering you can use. Choose one of the original banners to modify, and follow the instructions in the lettering file. Add your banner tags to this config file similar to the other entries. Call up your new .im and .kin name in the aircraft config file you wish to use.
You cannot upload an altered banner Mesh Library under my kuid. Contact me and I might include your banners in a future update of the asset. Make your own Mesh Library for your banners and call it up from your model and add your library to the kuid table of the model.
