The 3rd highest railway viaduct in New Zealand is about 10 km south of National Park on the North Island Main Trunk Line. The viaduct is of steel girder construction, is 262 m long and was opened in 1908. The bridge is single track but the model is for a dual track bridge with a maximum height of 80 metres.
