A spline of a Reinforced Earth Retaining Wall, with earth fill behind the wall. The height above ground is nominally 6 metres, with 3 metres below ground, but it is height adjustable and may be raised from or sunk into the ground for a different structure height.
Use the shift key to prevent splines joining to previously placed ones, and if you place it in short lengths, the sloping end wall does not appear.
The wall is made from concrete interlocking facing panels, and relies on metal or other durable material straps attached to the rear of the wall and extending 6 metres or more into the fill, depending on wall height. The wall is constructed upwards with the straps placed between incremental layers of fill, The wall relies on the friction of the soil on the straps to give friction resistance to prevent the panels bulging.
Consequently, the wall must be used with fill behind. It is not a free standing wall. The wall does not have sloping end panels
