A flyable Piper Cub J-3 aircraft, which displays a scrolling lighted sign at night below the aircraft, (press L key). Some speed values that trigger actions may be altered in the string table above - speeds are in kph. Note landing speed above is a fraction of full speed, eg 0.45, not kph.
The aircraft is set up to show a flashing light display beneath the aircraft at night. You may change the words or images on any light.tga file, it requires the alpha lights.bmp file to match, black is transparent, and white is opaque. A sample lettering.tga file is included in the model, so you can make your own signs. There are other coloured lights, red, green, blue, and yellow in the file that you can use to make different coloured letters.
To make your lights operate, for example you have changed the lights1.tga file and lights1.bmp files, make sure the default-night entries above point to the correct files, eg:
mesh body/night1.im
anim body/night1.kin
