The Kasgro KRL 16450 articulated depressed center flatcar is used to carry loads that would normally be in excess of other flatcar's maximum ratings based off of per-axel maximum load limits for rail lines. Limited to a maximum legal speed of 15mph the maximum gross weight that the KRL 16450 can handle with its 16 axels is 1.2 million pounds or 600 tons total (546,000 kg) with the actual car weight at 290,000 pounds and the load limit at 900,000 pounds, this car keeps the per-axel load under 38 tons per axel. This unit is modeled as closely as possible on limited prototype information.
