Baltimore & Ohio ordered 140 Q-1 class and 10 Q-1a class 2-8-2's in 1911 following the successful test of two E-27b 2-8-0's converted to 2-8-2's by Baldwin. The Q-1's were given superheaters and classed Q-1a, with 95 of them receiving stokers, too. By 1919, 66 engines had been converted but only three survived by 1932. The application of a special firebox (no other details given) and outside steam pipes in 1932 resulted in 116 engines being converted to class Q-1aa (I know, B&O got a little carried away here). All were retired by 1955. A heavy 2-8-2 with 57 inch drivers, based on Atlanta, Birmingham, & Coast 204. Locomotives of this type were used by shortlines and class ones. It can be relettered by following instructions in the readme and the website you downloaded it from. Tender for Baldwin heavy shortline mike.
