Norfolk & Western dieselized with a handful of GP7's and RS3's, and an armada of GP9's and RS11's. They were delivered in black paint, repainted blue after the Wabash merger and to introduce the impending C&O merger that never happened, and then back to black starting in 1971. Passenger geeps were originally maroon, then blue, then black.
