Part of the Uintah Railway: Rainbow to Cowboy. work in progress.TANE SP3. All assets should be available on DLS This section is mostly the projected extension to access the extensive Gilsonite fields near Bonanza ,which was never begun, set in the 1940s this alternative version of history has the route prospering and a busy traffic of gilsonite, wool and possibly shale oil making its way to Mack and the connection to the DRGW mainline . Huge thanks to the late Ben Dorsey, Paul Gorski , Narrowgauge, Clam 1952,.Frank Dean , Jankvis, jango and Pencil 42 for allowing me to rekin so many of their creations tor use on the route. Most textures are taken form images for the area, and it is as prototypical as I can get a railroad thats been abandoned for over 80 years and which inhabits one of the most remote areas of the country.
NB:Some gilsonite mines and Rainbow itself were abandoned by this period but I have modelled them as they were in the 1920s, so anyone who wants to run operations in that era can do so. If there are issues with this route operations such as gilsonite loading etc, they will be hopefully fixed by the time the whole route is released
