A RCH 1923 5 Plank wagon (16ft 6ins x 8ft 0ins x 2ft 11ins). Semley is between Salisbury and Templecombe in SR/S&DJR territory and this wagon would probably not stray far from it's home location until after 1940 when all private owner wagons were requisitioned by the Government and used as and when required. It would have probably been withdrawn by the late 1950s/early 1960s.
The details of the livery were taken from 'Private Owner Wagons' by Bill Hudson, published by the Oakwood Press (Chapter 10). Note that after 1940 PO wagons were repaired using unpainted planks and would not have been seen in this condition in the 1950s and 1960s.
