This session brings together elements of the previous four acts. It is a highly complex environment with a good deal of traffic.
Mr Bihar, the rostered driver, has called in sick. You are therefore required to take over his shift and take out the local goods service. Ensure you do not delay other trains, otherwise you may find your railway grinds to a halt!
The session begins at Applesthwaite where you will drive light engine to Lowfell to shunt and collect the local goods train. Further orders will be presented once the shunt operation is complete.
When you finally arrive back at Lowfell, around 12:30pm, you may take a break, following which you can take out the loco for further unscheduled goods work. A rake of coal wagons lies in the sidings at Lowfell, and another at Sheriff Sutton Mine. A rake of lumber & log cars is also in the sidings at Lowfell. You may wish to check against the Waybill to work out which loads are priority. Of course the empties also need collecting from the morning local, and returning to Lowfell. There are no return loads today on this run.
Whatever happens make sure to keep an eye on the other drivers! Enjoy your day.
