This is a faithful replica of the Goods Shed and associated Goods Platforms that once provided the goods transfer facility for the town of Koondrook, in Central Northern Victoria, located on the Murray River, the terminus of a short branch line that diverged from Kerang, on the Main Line from Bendigo to Swan Hill. Although the structure is no longer rail served (the line was closed to traffic in 1981 and dismantled shortly thereafter), it still stands to this day, reasonably well looked after by the local community (who use it for their own purposes). This version of the asset has been textured to represent a point in it's history at which it is somewhat overdue for refurbishment but is nonetheless, very much in good working order (and still in use). Although it is based on a specific prototype, the shed is perfectly suitable for use on any Victorian Railways themed route where a large timber (weatherboad clad) Goods Shed of this unusual, bespoke design would 'fit the bill'. When placed, the model is pre-supplied with a suitable track to VR Broad Gauge standards (5 Ft 3 In/1600mm) on both sides but this will adapt to any track applied to it, although correct clearance between any vehicles placed by the shed at the loading dock cannot be guaranteed if any other gauge of track is used. Please note, this is a 'static' model, intended for use in Trainz version TS2009 or later.
