This is a model of a typical, VR type 'D' wooden signalbox, of a design that is a Signalbox with an attached station, as opposed to a mere Signalbay incorprated within a standard station. Although it is based on the real life, former building that overlooked train movements at Buangor, on the Main Western Line, in western Victoria, on the line between Malbourne and Adelaide, it may be used in any location where a station building of this type may be required (toward which end it is fitted with two typical VR nameboards - a standard country station type and a standaed signalbox type - with which to name the asset using the Trainz 'name' function). This name may incorparate up to 12 letters (13. if one is an 'I'). It should be noted that this particular design incorporates certain elements that, unlike any previous releases of this type by this author, allow this structure to be located toward the back of otherwise thinner platforms.. As a KIND 'scenery' item, it can be placed anywhere on a route without the need for additional Invisible Track. It also has the capabililty of being used as the 'housing' for a Trainz Surveyor camera (for which the 'tracking' type is recommended) so that one might view the passage of trains, as if located within the Signal Box, Toward this end it has a complete interior as part of the mesh. Because of this, there are no 'interior' views nor any associated 'external' views. It is intended for use in Trainz version TS2009 or above.
