This is a faithful replica of the VR 'E' type wooden signalbox, that once watched proudly over and controlled the movement of trains through and around the Victorian country station at Cressy (it, sadly, no longer exists). Controlling as it did, a four way junction, a substantial 6 track yard with four additional interlocked sidings and a loco depot (provided with full servicing facilities, including a three stall roundhouse), this required a large 88 lever frame that has been modelled as accurately as possible in the interior of the signalbox. Unlike the other Type 'E' Generic Signalboxes previously released by this author, this version is not supported on an open frame and is intended solely to be mounted on a platform. If used to represent the signalbox at Cressy, then it should be placed between the two main station buildings on the Platform of the station (available separately from the same author <kuid2:1854:31154:1>). Otherwise, as a 'generic' Type 'E' box and KIND 'scenery' item, it can be placed anywhere on a route without the need for additional Invisible Track (although somewhere in the vicinity of a substantial interlocked junction and on a platform would be appropriate). It also has the capabililty of being used as the 'housing' for a Trainz Surveyor camera (for which the 'tracking' type is recommended) so that one might view the passage of trains, as if located within the signalbox, Toward this end, it has a complete interior as part of the mesh. Because of this, there are no 'interior' views nor any associated 'external' views. It is intended for use in Trainz version TS2009 or above.
