This is a model of a typical VR Type 'B' Wooden Signalbox of the specific design, within the type, intended to be 'mounted' solely on a platform. Toward that end, it is raised from normal ground level accordingly and as such, is incapable of being varied in height. This particular variation has a number of design features that date it as an early example of VR design, so it may be used in any route prior to about 1920 (but that does not exclude it's use in more recent times). As a KIND 'scenery' item, it can be placed anywhere on a route without the need for additional Invisible Track (although somwewhere towards the rear of the platform of a substantial interlocked junction or station with a medium sized shunting yard would be appropriate). It also has the capabililty of being used as the 'housing' for a Trainz Surveyor camera (for which the 'tracking' type is recommended) so that one might view the passage of trains, as if located within the signalbox, Toward this end it has a complete interior as part of the mesh. Because of this, there are no 'interior' views nor any associated 'external' views. It is intended for use in Trainz version TS2009 or above.
