This is a model of a typical VR Type 'H' Country Station. This is the second of the designs intended to be constructed of Brick and the first in this sub-set to include a 'three bedroom' Station Master's residence. This version of the station is provided in the dark Red Brick scheme with painted, Stucco Quoinstones and window and door surrounds in an 'Italianate' style. It has an Entrance Lobby, enclosed on the approach side by doors, and a substantial Yard area that includes a built-in Shed containing the 'outside' toilet and Bathroom. Although otherwise identical in plan to the VR Type 'H' Generic Station (also by this author), to provide for variety in multiple use throughout a route, this version of the structure is equipped with a standard Corrugated Iron roof overall and an alternative paint scheme for the timber parts. The design is based on the 'standard' plans for such stations as issued by the Ways & Works Branch, which are then modified by individual architects when designing any specific station. Because of the size of the structure, this asset is provided with two typical VR style nameboards (attached to the wall facing the platform), to utilise the Trainz 'name' capability, allowing up to twelve characters in the name (thirteen if one is an 'I'). This asset is intended for use in Trainz version TS2009 or later.
