This VR Pedestrian Crossing Path is a 'spline' created to represent a gravel type path that might be laid across the tracks to form a walkway that can be used by persons wishing to cross the tracks or to create a path across a yard for rail employees to use. It is provided with 'End caps' especially designed to finish the path with a ramp leading up to the height of the path surface. The basic component of the spline is set to a length of 3.05 meters (10 feet), so as to be sufficient to encompass the area occupied by one width of track. Of course, the path does not need to proceed straight across the yard tracks nor need it be straight, in or of, itself; being a spline, it will bend accordingly.
