S.S. Moyie was one of a fleet of sternwheelers owned by The Canadian Pacific Lake and River Service, a division of the Canadian Pacific Railway, operating passenger and cargo shipping routes along the inland waters of British Columbia. Built in 1898, the Moyie served on Kootenay Lake until 1957. Today she is a National Historic Site in Kaslo, B.C. The worlds oldest intact passenger sternwheeler. Several modifications were made to the Moyie over the years. This model is not representative of any one period in its history. No rivets were counted in the making of this asset.
