This structure is one of a group of buildings originally constructed in the early 1900's at what is now the NYSW Liberty Street Yard in Binghamton, NY. Originally a freight house for the Delaware, Lackawanna & Western (DL&W) it was also used by the Erie-Lackawanna (E-L) before being abandoned. Having fallen into serious disrepair over the next several years it was finally demolished in early January of 1999. A modified version of the original 'Lackawanna Freight House 1' structure by Ben Dorsey and with his permission. Thanks to Ben for his great item and allowing me to do this! This updated mod version has had the canopy on one side of the structure raised a bit to allow better clearance for all railroad rolling stock and large locomotives.
