The original portion of this 1929 building was designed by the Montreal architect Sidney Comber in a blend of Spanish Mission and Italianate influenced design giving the building a Mediterranean look. It was built for Crown Bakery Ltd. by Bird, Woodall & Simpson. The Weston Fruitcake Co. of Ontario purchased the Crown Bakery in 1938. The name was then changed to Weston's Bread & Cakes Canada Ltd. The building has been on the Regina Heritage Holding Bylaw List since 1989. Ported with appropriate Trainz modifications by me from the Weston Bread Building model on the Google 3D Warehouse. 488 Polys. Height adjustable.
