This asset plays a sound similar to a number NSWGR track detonators exploding. These detonators are placed at regular spacing at some distance on the track and are activate by the leading loco wheels. Their purpose is to warn track workers and approaching loco driver of some impending incident up ahead. When encountered, the driver must slow down & be prepared to stop when directed to do so.
The asset contains two files; detonate_1.wav = one explosion or detonate_3.wav = three explosions.
To use this asset in a session, place the asset on the track and then in the session rules
1 Add either 'Trigger Rule' or 'Trigger Check' rules
2 Add 'Play Sound' rule eg Play sound *.wav in Detonator.html
The volume is sufficient to be heard over most engine/other sounds.
