High accuracy and detail model of the virtually identical Mayfield and Rotherfield Stations on the Cuckoo Line in East Sussex, modelled from the surviving building at Mayfield, with a few minor alterations. In SR/BR colour scheme. Originally built by the LBSCR to the designs of Terence Myers, these buildings were standardised and modular, and were used for most LBSCR small and medium sized stations. Mayfield and Rotherfield were the largest of the intermediate stations on the Cuckoo Line. The same design as Horam and Hellingly, with the addition of an integrated waiting romm and gents toilets and a refreshment room. Heathfield was the smallest, being a compacted mirror image of Horam, minus the parcels office, to squeeze it into a restricted site by an overbridge. These stations were quite renowned for their extensive use of coloured 'stained' glass in the Arts and Crafts style. Warning - high polycount (35k) due to detail level - this is modelled down to the doorknobs! May impact performance on old computer systems, though it runs well on an old laptop of the author's
