A cabinet and key holder on a stand mounted in a station yard close to lever frames unlocked by this key.
The cabinet contained a switch that could only be turned to its key-released position when unlocked by a remote lever in the yard signal box.
When the cabinet switch was in its key-released position, the Annett key in the holder could be removed and used to unlock nearby lever frames.
The switch could only be returned to its key-locked position when the Annett key was returned to its holder.
Similarly, the lever in the signal box that unlocked the releasing switch, could only be returned to normal when the releasing switch was returned to its key-locked position.
This asset is configurable using the properties editor to carry 1 of 8 different patterns of Annett key.
<kuid2:368725:15000:11> 'Safeworking Officer', controlled by a player using the control panel of <kuid:368725:60021> 'SWO Controller Rule', carries the key between the releasing switch and the yard lever frame to be unlocked.
Each instance of a releasing switch on a route is named in the format <location code>_RLX_<switch index>.
Following the naming convention enables the signal box lever frame asset to identify the releasing switch asset controlled by one of its levers that has been configured to unlock a releasing switch.
Examples of signal box lever frame assets are <kuid2:368725:90053:1> 'NSWGR mechanical lever frame for a signal box, 8-18 levers, for avatar operation' and <kuid2:368725:90030:4> 'NSWGR mechanical lever frame for a signal box, 18-28 levers, for avatar operation'.
