A lower-quadrant, mechanically-operated, semaphore home signal with operation detection is mounted at the top of a 22ft wooden post. At 10ft on the right-hand side of the post, a motor-worked banner signal is mounted. When the banner signal is off and the home signal is on, the home signal may be passed at slow speed onto a path that diverges to the right from the mainline. The signal post is to the right of the track in the facing direction.
The original oil lamp of the home signal has been replaced by an electric one. The home semaphore can take 2 positions over the lowerer quadrant: horizontal (STOP), and -50 degrees (PROCEED).
