A wooden support on a concrete base deployed by NSWGR in the early and mid 20th century for elevating tracks on a low-lying trestle deck. The underside of the trestle can be up to 5ft above ground. Typical use was to support a track at a higher level than adjacent tracks in order to facilitate a service proved by a station yard.
