A mechanically-driven rotating disc indicator to inform in which direction a junction is switched.
Designed for use in conjunction with (a) 'Protrack NSWGR' series with<kuid:368725:49000> 'Protrack NSWGR Mesh Library', and (b) an invisible mojunction asset such as <kuid2:44090:1007:1> Invisible Lever.
The indicator is driven by the same rod that operates the junction. The model will cover 2 applications: 1) the rodding pulls the indicator crank from the right (viewed from the facing side of the junction) and the default switch direction is right, and 2) the rodding pulls the indicator crank from the left and the default switch direction is left.
Extend rod spline <kuid:368725:30071> 'point rodding, no guide, 1x, NSWGR' that connects to the junction switchblade until it appears on the other side of the track to that on which it approached the point. Terminate the extension when it has covered the rod attached to the indicator model. The model's attached rod will emerge when the indicator toggles.
Note that this asset cannot by itself switch the direction of a junction. An invisible switch lever must be added to the junction. An association between the invisible lever and the switch-direction indicator is established through a naming convention. If the invisible lever is named 'HR_16', then the indicator must be named the same way with the suffix '_i' appended: 'HR_16_i'.
