A metal gantry supporting a sheet-metal channel that carried electrical cable connections between Hawkesbury River signal box and electrical interlocking house.
Both the signal box and the interlocking house were located on the station platform. Instead of burying the cable channel under the platform surface, a gantry was used to elevate the channel 12 feet above the surface.
