A Tasmanian Government Railways 3ft 6in gauge three wheeled velocipede built originally imported the Sheffield Velocipede Car Co, Michigan, United Stated from 1890 to 1911 due to the company ceasing operation , but continued to be built long into the middle of the 1920s and 1930s by Railway Workshops, Launcestion to a copied design from the original models. These were replaced by more convential Section Cars with petrol motors but these types were still considered usedful around station yards, goods yards and between short sections for track maintainance. They outlasted steam, living long into the 1970s. Cast away by then Australian National Railways later Australian National which swept away the old forever.
Model - Represented in Original 'Safety Red' from 1912 to 1974. As it is a static model, to be used with my Standard Trolley Sheds
