MAS Parcels Pile
As well as carrying much of the Royal Mail's day to day consignments, the railways had their own parcels delivery services, an extension of their freight businesses. Where there was a direct route between the sending and destination stations, the train would be the fastest way of getting a delivery between the two. Here's a group of miscellanous parcels ready for loading onto the next train.
