HR SgB BC Highland Railway Signal Box Brown and Cream
As a bonus to partner the WHR Bridge of Orchy Station Building in BR ScR Brown and Cream, here's a reskin of a trial of Kyle's Signal Box in similar colours; not sure whether this particular box ever carried them, but other Scottish boxes certainly did, and as a further bonus it's close enough to GWR/BR WR colours to be used on them as well.
Most of the Highland's boxes were built by McKenzie and Holland to a standard pattern used elsewhere in the UK, although many had shorter windows than usual - presumably in an attempt to conserve warmth during the long cold winters.Kyle's box varied further by having a full verandah at the steps end, once again probably as a weather precaution. It rains in Kyle. Copiously.
