Terraced housing isn't confined to grimy back streets; the description also encompasses such architectural gems as the Circus in Bath or Nash's Regency examples in London. There's a spectrum of examples between these two extremes, and although my next set of units doesn't exactly reach those exalted heights, it is at least a step or two up the social ladder from the previous terraces, being composed of nicer brick with the decorative addition of contrasting coloured stock bordering the windows and doors. There's a little more luxury, too, with additions such as bay windows, porches and even tiny front gardens available. Their slightly higher status has led to the series designation 'Posher Terraced Villas'.
The modular approach means that you can create quite a variety of buildings from relatively few units, thus lightening the load on your computer: in this particular case, the same basic components can be used to create buildings of palpably different character.
As with all the MTK2 kits, we start with a basic pair of dwellings, to which everything else is added as you wish. In their most basic state, all you need are a trio of four-pot chimneys, as in the screenshot.
