WHR CNR SMH WHR Crianlarich Station Master's House
This square building with a pyramid roof and distinctive porch was the standard WHR Station Master's house, found at most of the stations as far north as Bridge of Orchy. Some, such as this, were modernised in BR times, including a harling rendering over the original stone walls, the fitting of new windows at the sides and removal of a small one at the front, and later the addition of a new rear extension. By the mid-1980s, Crianlarich had had most of the modifications apart from the old, low rear extension.
