WHR CNR TSB DS Crianlarich Temporary Station Building Direction Sign
Crianlarich station's signage was a law unto itself between the 1960s and 90s. Even though it may have been supplied with Modern Image signs, the older BR blue signs with the now incorrect name 'Crianlarich Upper' (the 'Lower' having been closed by Beeching) remained in use, along with some of the old totems, and the Refreshmsnt Rooms still bore the original metal signs from the turn of the century. The new station building had a mix, too, with this Modern Image sign offering directions although it was hidden from view for anyone arriving on the platform by the signal cabin and Refreshment Room. The font used is 'British Rail Dark Normal' by Chroniton8990.
