Post Office II in Dessau;

This building, now a listed building, was opened in 1956 as Post Office II at Dessau Central Station. The people of Dessau call it the Bahnpost (railway post). Since 2004, various companies have been located in this building and parts of it can be rented as offices or meeting rooms.
This model is intended to reflect the state of the building in the 1980s and 1990s. That means a dilapidated state. Currently the building is in a better (renovated) condition and has solar panels on the roofs.

Dieses, heute denkmalgeschützte, Gebäude wurde 1956 als Postamt II am Hauptbahnhof Dessau eröffnet. Der Dessauer nennt es die Bahnpost. Seit 2004 befinden sich in diesem Gebäude verschiedene Firmen und Teile davon können als Büro- oder Sitzungsräumlichkeiten gemietet werden.
Dieses Modell soll den Zustand des Gebäudes in den achziger und neunziger Jahren abbilden. D.h. ein maroder Zustand. Aktuell ist das Gebäude in einem besseren (sanierten) Zustand und hat auf den Dächern Solarpanele."
