A model of a Family Lines SD40-2. The family Lines system was a the combination of L&N, clinchfield and Seaboard Coast line, the Georgia railroad and the west point routes. Under family lines the individual roads kept their corprate identity but locomotives were painted in a unified paint scheme. Family Lnes component railroads SCL and L&N ordered several SD40-2's. Most survived into the csx era still in FLS paint although some were repainted into SBD paint.Most are still hard at work for csx although some have been retired and all now wear CSX colors. Thanks to sporbust for letting me reskin this model. EMD SD40 & SD40-2 mesh made by SP_OR_BUST, Thanks to CSX_sd60 for the great horn, Thanks to Weevil for the nice eng Spec, and Wulf for the great engine sounds.
