This is a masonry arch spline based on the Rockville Bridge that crosses the Susquehanna
River just south of Marysville, PA. It opened on March 30th, 1902. Originally it carried
4-tracks on 13 foot centers. It has had several revisions trackwise over the years including
being reduced to 3-tracks. Currently it has two tracks carrying the Norfolk Southern and
Amtrack Keystone Corridor. It has also had several variations of switches on the bridge so
for that reason I have not included built in tracks. The actual bridge consists of 48 arch
spans of 70 ft each.
