A police box of the design used in Edinburgh, depicted as it might have appeared in operational use from 1930-1980 (approximately). These boxes may still be found aroound Edinburgh. Some are derelict: others are used as interactive information centres or coffee kiosks.

My thanks to tmz06003 for providing photographs of a present day Edinburgh derelict box, and for granting me permission to use those photographs as the basis for phototexturing this model. In adapting those photographs to portray an operational box I have incorporated some speculative details, owing to a shortage of historical photographs.
