These are enginesounds for Valenta engined HST's. The Valenta engine was built between 1973 and 1982 adn was fitted to all powercars in the HST's including the prototype as well as being added to several Royal Navy Destroyers such as the Type 24 Destroyer. Apart from a few, the Valanta engine has almost completely disappeared from the rails and has been replaced by VP-185's and the newly built MTU's. Only a handfull of powercars have retained their Valenta and they can be found working for Grand Central on the ECML, working on the NMT (but they are soon to be MTU'ed) and there is one powercar working for East Midlands Trains numbered 43089 (formerly to Battery powered test train and NMT powercar known as 'Hayabusa'). May I ask all those who use these sounds to turn up their speakers, THE SCREAM IS INSANE!
