VR 5 chime whistle sound - Y112
This sound is a 5 chime whistle as used by many steam locomotives on the Victorian Railways. This specific sound is of the 5 chime whistle currently fitted to Y112, and as such is best used on the Y class locomotives.

An 'alternate' whistle sound is available using the 'Bell' function. This whistle is a 2 part looped whistle, to remove the short 'pops' at the end of the whistle. Two other recordings available, one with one 'pop' at the end of the whistle, and another with two short 'pops' at the end, as from the original recording.

This sound is made from recordings by Daniel Handcock, taken on the 15th of August 2011 at Lal Lal ('bell' sound), and near Moorabool (main whistle).
