During the 1890s the N.E.R. utilised the S3 Type of box on their line in Yorkshire between Church Fenton and Burton Salmon,
though the S3 type was also found at several other sites across the Southern Division of the N.E.R. with an example of the type being built as late as 1910
at Whitby without the upper window lights. The Southern Division encompassed most of the company's lines to be found in Yorkshire.
This model is based on the S3 box located at HILLAM GATES crossing between Milford and Burton Salmon.
Frank Routledge did the research and was responsible for many of the photo textures, Chris Nawlins gave lots of input as well.
