Another model created in Google SketchUp and exported to Trainz with RubyTMIX. Globen, or Stockholm Globe Arena, is a stadium in Stockholm, Sweden. It is currently the largest hemispherical building in the world and took two and a half years to build. Completed in 1989. Shaped like a large golf ball, it has a diameter of 110 metres (361 feet) and an inner height of 85 metres (279 feet). The volume of the building is 600,000 cubic metres (21,188,800 cubic feet). It has seating for 16,000 spectators. Currently hockey is mostly played in the stadium, home of Djurgårdens IF, DIF, but even boxing, horseshows and other events could be held here.
