This session is for Austral Bay v5a. All the items of rolling stock needed by the session will be downloaded from the Download Station when the session is installed.
The steel works at Hoskings needs a constant supply of coal, iron ore and limestone to operate. When combined in the blast furnace, the coal reduces the iron ore to iron and the limestone acts as a flux to remove impurities.
You and Joe have been up since well before dawn and worked light engine from Basin Harbor to the coal mine at Dean. You have spoken to the Yard Master, and acknowledged receipt of your Train Orders.
You look at the orders again -
Attach hoppers and load with coal.
Proceed to Iron Blow, attach and load hoppers with ore.
Proceed to Poole, attach and load hoppers with limestone.
Proceed to Hoskings and unload hoppers at blast furnace.
Leave empty hoppers in the yard.
Proceed to Hoskings loco, refuel and await further orders.
You are authorised to travel at up to 50mph except in yard areas where normal limits apply.
