A 5-strand barbed-wire fence, 1.2m high, with post-and-batten construction. Typically, this type of fence is used to retain livestock.
In this updated version, two slightly different fence sections are mixed at random (theoretically in a 1:1 ratio on average) as the spline is laid out, reducing the repetition often seen in splines.
Surveyor tip: Moving or inserting spline points will change the arrangement of the different fence parts. This may be useful for achieving a more even mix of parts along the spline.
All component meshes have 3-tiered LOD. The LOD transition distances and textures have been designed to offset blurring of the fence wires at long view distances (a common problem with alpha-mapped wires in Trainz, caused by mip-mapping).
