This is a new engine spec for Soviet Series TU2 diesel-electric locomotive. A 750mm narrow gauge locomotive built between 1956 and 1958 (or 1959). Total number built 281 (although other numbers are noted from 257 to over 300).

The throttle-power curves are generic type curves that assume the power output is constant over the speed range but TE is limited at low speeds. Power output is based on assumption that 80% of the installed HP is available at the rail as applied power in notch 8. Each throttle notch increases the applied power by 1/8 of the total available starting with 0 in notch 0.
Maximum TE is limited to 94.2 kN based on 30% of the adhesive weight of 32 tonnes. This represents operating in conditions where TE is limited by wheelslip under average conditions. The maximum TE is available at low speed in notches 5 to 8. Lower notches show increased reduction down to 50% of max TE in notch 1.
Maximum speed is set at 50 km/h for DCC mode and in the throttle-power container.
