If you wish to reskin my mesh, please contact me first. I generally have other skins in various stages of completeness, and two people working on the same skin isn't a good use of developer time - it would be more productive to work on different skins. Some skins may need mesh modifications, to follow changes to the prototype, or to correct texturemapping issues that aren't shown up by previous skins. As aliasing doesn't always work so well on complex models with meshtables and LOD, it may be necessary for a skin to be distributed with a copy of the model, rather than aliased. Where this is necessary, I will distribute the model, giving the reskinner credit for the skin."
